News and Notes
On 3/27 at approximately 8 PM a female was raped in Springvale Park at Euclid Avenue and Waverly Way. The suspect, a Black Male, 6'0" knocked the female to the ground from behind. He was wearing a mask but the victim was able to pull the mask off his face. He then forced her on her back and had sex with her, abruptly stopped and ran away. The victim suffered minor facial injuries. There is no further description available at this time.

The Robbery that is listed in the stats occurred in the victims driveway. A Black male subject 6'0 150 lbs with a slim build wearing all black pointed his hand at the victim in the shape of a gun. The victim however never saw a weapon. The suspect took jewelry and credit cards that were in the victim's purse and fled on foot.

The Burglary listed in the stats was a babysitter whom left the residence and left the door unlocked and when she returned the door was open. The laptop was stolen while the babysitter was away.
There was another robbery on April 16, 2010 at the corner of Ponce de Leon Place and St. Charles. 5 black males young in age and ranging from 5'0 to 6'2 robbed the victim. One of the suspects struck him in the face and demanded his wallet. The victim complied and the suspects fled on foot.
