News and Notes
On 3/26 on the morning watch (10:00 pm to 7:00 am) after using the Bank of America ATM, the victim and friend were walking north on Frederica Street when a car pulled out of the library parking lot - the driver got out and yelled "give me the money".  The victim wisely gave him his wallet which was also a cell phone holder.  The suspect got back into his car and fled.

The report was filed by APD Sergeant Skeens, who was on duty for our VaHi off-duty patrol service (FBAC) at the time, and states:
Sgt. Bill Skeens, APD and FBAC Patrol

On 3/28/15, Officer Rushin was dispatched to 1060 St. Charles Avenue (Threadz) for damage to private property.  Upon arrival he met with Sgt. Skeens who stated that he was driving south on N. Highland Avenue when he heard screeching tires.  AS he made a right on St. Charles Avenue to drive west he saw a blue Jeep back into the location about two times before they noticed him. As Sgt. Skeens went to investigate, the vehicle sped away west on St. Charles Ave drove south on Frederica Street.  He was able to get the Georgia license plate which showed to be stolen out of Atlanta.  The jeep caused damage to the door of Threadz.  There were damaged pieces left from the Jeep.  A lookout was given on the vehicle and its' damage to the rear passenger bumper and taillight.  The location does have cameras over the door frame.  A key holder was not able to come to the scene.

FBAC Officers arrested a wanted person for a probation violation after stopping the individual wandering behind several businesses during early morning hours.  The suspect was acting suspicious and had no reason to be behind the businesses located around Atkins Park.
