Safe Package Delivery Service

Announcing some changes to the program. As you may have heard, Intown ACE Hardware, the pioneer of this program will no longer be participating after October of this year. The owner of the store, Micah Eifrid tells me

"Effective Nov. 1, 2015 we will no longer offer our Package program for the neighborhood.  We are giving the neighbors enough time to make other arrangements for their shipped goods.  I know there are other places in the area that accept packages, I just can't remember who.

Right now, our business is in a period of rapid growth, and we're expanding in almost every department.  This , plus the unexpected success of the package program has pushed our storage capacities to their limit.  We are simply no longer able to offer this service.

We are placing a notice on all packages that come in with a notice.  Once we get a list of places that are accepting packages, we will display that at the store for the customers.

We thank everyone for their assistance in making this transition possible.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Micah and his team for their many contributions to the neighborhood, and to wish them well as they move forward with exciting changes at the store.

Despite this change, we still have two businesses participating in the program including Urban Body Studio and Morningside Mini-Storage both on Ponce Place. Find more information about the program here.
