On 3/7/15 our Zone 6 and FBAC Sergeant Bill Skeens, on duty for FBAC at this time, walked behind Atkins Park restaurant and came upon a male looking into and trying the door handle of a pickup truck.  Skeens questioned the suspect and placed him under arrest for prowling and criminal attempt for a felony (entering vehicle). The truck belonged to an employee and had on the front seat in plain view a jacket, energy drinks, and hand tools.

Wells Fargo Bank Robbery

During business hours on 227/15 this bank was brazenly robbed by three armed masked males who shouted "This is a stick-up".  to the employees and customers.  Two of the males went behind the counter and cleaned out the cash drawers and became  very agitated when the safe could not be opened.  They were followed down Todd Road by a witness who got the tag number, but they got away from him.  The cash in the bag had a tracking device attached which let police follow them.  No word as to an arrest.

Kentucky Avenue Home Burglary

This home was burglarized after the nanny left the house setting the burglar alarm, but then forgetting to lock the door.  The only thing missing was the nanny's purse and contents.
